Based in Lincoln, MA near Hanscom Air Force Base, USB Corporation was founded in 1969 as a financial advisory firm serving high net worth investors. In the mid-1980’s, several mutual funds were established with the investment portfolios managed by sub-advisors. The firm now consists of several privately-held companies including:
- U.S. Boston Capital Corporation: Broker-dealer, distributor of the Quant Funds
- Quantitative Investment Advisors, Inc.: Investment advisor
- Quantitative Institutional Services: Transfer agent, a division of Quantitative Investment Advisors, Inc.
- Quantitative Group of Funds (“Quant Funds”): Mutual fund complex with five funds, each with two share classes.
Since its founding, the business has grown significantly due to strong performance records and expanded distribution. The company has 22 employees and approximately $700 million in assets as of June 30, 2009.
